Accountant Louis Sherman had led a sheltered life. Thirty years old, obese, and lacking social skills, he is determined to take one last shot at having a 'real life.' Blue-collar Travis Lane, on the other hand, grew up in a dysfunctional Georgia home and became a wife-abusing alcoholic. A graduate of Miami University (OH), K.D. Richardson has been writing for sixteen years. He is also a sports columnist and photographer for the Venice Cornerstone newspaper.
