Audio Book Production
Our new audio book offerings are simply beautiful. Each title is packaged in a standard DVD-style case, and the artwork is applied to each Compact Disc with laser technology. Using this technology enables us to produce each title at considerable savings. The finished product is, of course, shrink-wrapped. Our audio books will soon be available through major distributors. The following titles are scheduled for production in 2008-2010 (presented in alphabetical order, not in order of production):

Digital Movie Production
The Fiction Works was originally formed to produce audio books. However, we soon began publishing eBooks, and a year after that we dove into the paperback market. Now we're in the process of preparing scripts for digital movie production, and we're making headway.

eBooks From The Fiction Works Are Kindle Compatible
Amazon.com's new "Kindle" eBook reader appears to be making sales headway, which is good for all eBook publishers. Our titles are available in 12 popular formats, including Kindle.

The Fiction Works Inks Script Development Deal
Brick Price, President of WonderWorks, Inc., one of the top special effects companies in the world, today announced a script development agreement with The Fiction Works, an Internet publishing company based in the Great Northwest.

Fire Destroys Our Lake Tahoe Recording Studio
The gigantic forest fire that threatens to engulf all of South Lake Tahoe has already claimed nearly 200 homes. David Fabrizio, our creative director, lost everything when his home burned to the ground. The fire also claimed our recording studio, resulting in the loss of $25,000 or so in electronic gear, and hundreds of hours of recordings for titles in our audio production queue.

This isn't "political" — it's Survival!
I don't usually get involved in religion or politics, but I'm fed up with our energy mess. Since Washington seems unable (or unwilling) to do anything about it, it's time to look elsewhere for leadership. Click on the accompanying photo and have a look at T. Boone Pickens' plan. This famous oilman's solution is common sense personified.—Ray Hoy, Publisher.
